MISSION STATEMENT

It is our aim to make your tournament holiday the most enjoyable experience we possibly can. We will be on-site to help ensure that everything runs smoothly and all issues are dealt with in good time. Something unforeseen may, on occasion, happen, if it does, our intent is to do everything in our power to resolve it.

PROVISION OF GOLF TOURNAMENT SERVICES

All services shown on our website and in our marketing materials will be arranged by MyrtleBeachTime, and will be provided either by ourselves or by contracted suppliers.  Once a Registration of Interest form is completed or a registration of interest is made by telephone, we will write to confirm your booking  and our invoice terms. Once the booking is confirmed by you and you have accepted the terms and conditions of the booking, your place on the tournament is secured, however, due to the nature of a tournament holiday, MyrtleBeachTime reserve the right to cancel the tournament holiday where there is less than 25 Pairs paid in full. Where this may occur one or more different dates will be offered, but if this is not suitable any monies paid will be refunded. No tournaments will be cancelled less than 10 weeks before departure.

PRICES AND PRICE GUARANTEES

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling. Prices advertised are applicable at the time of registering an interest but may change before a booking is made mainly due to fluctuations in the currency exchange market, however, we do reserve the right to amend prices in exceptional circumstances but only up to 30 days before departure.

ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTIONS

All accommodation at the Legends Resort is privately owned. It will all conform to the specification shown in the package details page, but will vary from pictures shown on the Legends Resort website according to the taste of the owner. The pictures are for guidance only.

SERVICES AND FACILITIES

Legends Resort give us descriptions of services and facilities in good faith and every care is taken to ensure their accuracy. Please remember that certain facilities require maintenance and may have to be temporarily withdrawn from use. Wherever possible reported problems will be dealt with as speedily as possible.

Cars hired are subject to availability. Every effort will be made to ensure the suitability of all vehicles.

PAYMENT

A deposit of £300 per person will be required upon your acceptance of our invoice terms, with the balance due 16 weeks before departure. If you do not pay the balance, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled, in which case you could be liable to pay us cancellation charges up to 100% of the invoice total.

Bookings made after 16 weeks before departure will be at the discretion of MyrtleBeachTime and will be payable in full.

Payment can be made by cheque payable to MBT Events Ltd or directly into our Bank Account, which will be stated on your invoice.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

We accept responsibility to deliver all elements of a MyrtleBeachTime golf tournament, as described on our website and in marketing materials, to a reasonable standard. If any such element is not provided in the advertised manner, we will pay appropriate compensation if this has affected the enjoyment of your holiday. As stated in our mission statement, it is our aim to ensure the best possible experience for you and will endeavour to ensure this happens with elements in our control.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Compensation payments do not apply to changes caused by reason of war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemic or health risk, technical problems due to transport closure or congestion of airports or ports and similar events beyond our control.

It will not be the responsibility of MyrtleBeachTime for any refusal of entry to the United States and it is the travellers responsibility to ensure all documentation required for entry is available.

FORCE MAJEURE

This means any circumstances that cause us to cancel or change the golf event booked by you in any way because of war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may amount to force majeure.

CHANGES TO YOUR GOLF EVENT

It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to the golf tournament as advertised and booked by you, however, tournaments are planned months in advance and occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. Our knowledge of the area and the local courses will ensure that should changes to golf courses advertised be necessary, we will replace them with golf courses of the same quality.

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about your golfing experience, it is important that you bring this to the attention of our local representative so that they can try to rectify it immediately. In the unlikely event that the issue cannot be resolved locally you must write to us at Customer Services, MyrtleBeachTime, 55 Forest Side, London, E4 6BA or email us at customerservices@myrtlebeachtime.co.uk within 28 days of your return from the tournament. We can normally agree an amicable settlement of any complaints we receive, however, if we cannot agree, then you are entitled to refer the dispute for decision by an Arbitrator appointed by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, provided your claim is for not more than £900 per person or £4000 per booking form and does not involve physical injury or illness. The Arbitrator Scheme provides for arbitration on documents; a simple and inexpensive method with restricted client liability on costs. Any dispute must be referred within 9 months of your return from your event. Full details are available on request. Alternatively, you may go to your County Court or other suitable court.

CANCELLATION OF YOUR GOLF TOURNAMENT BOOKING BY YOU

You may cancel your booking but the instructions will only be valid if received in writing and signed by the lead name at the time of booking. Your written instructions must be sent to MyrtleBeachTime by email or letter. To compensate us for the expense of processing your booking and for the risk that we may not be able to re-sell your place, we will charge a cancellation fee.

If the cancellation is by some of the party and if a discount has been made in view of the number of the party, MyrtleBeachTime may cancel all or part of the discount.

COURSE CONDITIONS

We cannot be held responsible for the actual playing conditions of the golf courses whether caused by course maintenance, climatic conditions etc. We do request all maintenance schedules from our featured courses and when we are advised we pass this information onto you. Please remember maintenance schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions. Golf course closure due to adverse weather is at the discretion of the golf course.

HANDICAP CERTIFICATES

Due to the nature of a tournament golf holiday, you must hold a recognised and verifiable handicap to qualify for entry. All handicaps will be validated once the booking is made and we recommend you bring your handicap certificate with you for final verification in Myrtle Beach.

GREEN FEES AND START TIMES

Green fees and buggies are included in the price of your golf package for the 7 rounds as specified on our website and in marketing materials. If you decide to play additional golf, you will be responsible for booking and payment of these rounds. and recommendations can be given by us based on our local knowledge. Start times for tournament days will be confirmed in advance of the day's play.

DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

No personal information provided by you in the course of booking a MyrtleBeachTime tournament holiday will be passed on to any 3rd party other than those responsible for the provision of elements of the package.

PRIZES

MyrtleBeachTime will provide prizes consistent with the R & A Rules of Amateur Status in that these prizes will be of minimal monetary value.
